PromptEdit is an independently maintained experiment in making ChatGPT photo-editing workflows easier to find, copy, adapt, and evaluate.

What is here now

The library covers practical tasks such as object removal, background replacement, portrait retouching, and product-photo cleanup. Each focused guide pairs short prompts with more constrained versions and explains common failure modes.

How content is handled

Prompt wording is edited for clarity and task fit. PromptEdit does not label an output “tested” unless the input, output, model context, and observed limitations can be shown. A larger documented before-and-after benchmark is planned but is not published yet.

What PromptEdit is not

It is not an official OpenAI product, a photo-storage service, or a promise that one prompt will work on every image. AI editors change, and the same instruction can produce different results.
